Join us for a fun-filled night celebrating the launch of our Artist Rendezvous Podcast with an amazing night of music. The evening kicks off with soulful Pop/R&B from LeTrainiump and funk grooves from FLYJACK, two incredible local acts that are great for dancing. Along the way, we’ll raise a toast to The Artist Rendezvous, a new podcast celebrating Austin’s creative pulse by sharing the stories of local artists and creative entrepreneurs.

This year’s event features performances from acclaimed local artists including promqueen (Vietnamese American pop/rap artist and former KUTX Artist of the Month), Somebody Someone (Tiny Desk favorite and alt-pop songwriter), Anastasia Hera (KUTX Artist of the Month rapper), and Skateland (KUTX Artist of the Month and bedroom pop artist).

They’ll share the stage with eight rising young artists from the Song Rise Arts Thrive Program — Eddie Angel, Kira, Luna, Cherri, Zachquietdown, Yen, Gem, and ULTRA Violetcoraline — representing genres ranging from alt-R&B and bedroom pop to soulful pop en Español. Each artist will perform one or two original songs, with several joined onstage by their musician mentors. Expect highlights like Eddie Angel’s “Payaso,” featuring saxophone accompaniment from his mentor, Midnight Navy. Hosting duties will be led by “Austin soul sensation” (KUTX) Tomar Williams of Tomar and The FCs.
